Loretta George, M.Ed., P.C.C
Loretta earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Akron and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services from Baldwin-Walllace College. She has over 10 years experience in community mental health working for non-profit organizations in which she provided individual, group, couples, and family counseling for a wide range of individuals, including those with HIV/AIDS and trauma histories. She has also worked within the school system providing parent education and counseling children as part of their IEP or 504 plans, and had a private practice for 10 years in which she provided therapy to couples and individuals of all ages. In her current work, Loretta focuses on child and adolescent trauma, couples therapy, and women’s issues, and enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan.
